Most often you won’t get any symptoms with diabetes. It can take up to 10 years for the person with high glucose levels to start having symptoms and be diagnosed. Diabetes UK have developed a Risk Assessment Tool to help with screening for diabetes.

Please find the assessment sheet and supporting information below. Please contact the surgery if you have questions or if your risk is high.

You can’t use this tool:

  • If you are in the 40-74 year age range, please make appointment for the NHS Health Check
  • If you are pregnant, contact your midwife/Doctor
  • If you are under 18, contact your Doctor.
